LAHORE (Dunya News) - Renowned Pakistani film actress Reema Khan has expressed her views on ongoing controversies involving actresses Meera and Resham, as well as the media’s approach towards artists in recent interviews.
Speakinf to the private TV program, Reema Khan said that hosts and podcasters in Pakistan often adopt inappropriate behavior with artists and ask questions related to their personal lives.
She stated that artists should be judged on the basis of their work and talent, rather than focusing on their private lives, adding that such practices can negatively impact both guests and the credibility of hosts.
The actress expressed regret over the type of questions asked about actress Meera, saying such behavior is harmful for the entertainment industry.
Talking about actress Resham, Reema Khan praised her graceful way of speaking and extended good wishes for her life. She advised Resham not to blindly believe what others say and to analyze situations herself instead of relying on hearsay.
During the interview, Reema Khan emphasized that respecting artists and appreciating their work is a social responsibility, while unnecessary personal questioning should be avoided.
