ISLAMABAD (APP) - The prices of gold increased in the local market on Monday, with 24 karat gold per tola gaining Rs 800 to settle at Rs 493,962 compared to Rs 493,162 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold rose by Rs 686 to Rs 423,492 from Rs 422,806, whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold went up by Rs 629 to Rs 388,215 against Rs 387,586.
In the international market, the price of gold increased by $8 to $4,716 per ounce from $4,708.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola remained unchanged at Rs 8,049, while the price of 10 grams of silver also stayed flat at Rs 6,900.
The price of silver in the international market held steady at $75.65 per ounce.
