India faces questions over alleged Pahalgam false flag and security failure. Public, media and experts raise concerns, while government responses remain unclear amid criticism

SRINAGAR (Dunya News) -  India has failed to respond to mounting questions over alleged security and intelligence lapses following the Pahalgam false flag operation.

Serious questions over criminal negligence and security failure in the Pahalgam incident remain unanswered, while even the public in India has raised concerns over what is being described as a planned move by the BJP.

Indian citizens have reportedly rejected what they see as an attempt to divert attention from internal issues, while BBC has also raised multiple questions regarding the Pahalgam incident, which remain unanswered by the Modi government.

Despite the presence of over 700,000 Indian troops, the incident has led to criticism of the government and its security apparatus, with many blaming the administration for failure.

People in Kashmir and various Indian political parties have termed the Pahalgam episode as a planned event, security lapse and conspiracy.

Experts say India has a history of alleged false flag operations, citing incidents such as Uri 2016, Pulwama 2019 and Pahalgam 2025, while adding that the global community has rejected India’s narrative following the latest development.
