Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh slips while entering submarine during Germany visit, video goes viral as he later declines second attempt amid official defence cooperation talks

NEW DELHI (Dunya News) - Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who arrived in Germany for a three-day visit, slipped while entering a submarine during an official tour.

The moment was captured on camera and quickly went viral on social media.

During the final day of his visit, the Indian Defence Minister visited the ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems (TKMS) shipyard, where he inspected a Type 212 submarine.

Company officials briefed him on the technical capabilities of the submarine and offered him an internal inspection.

In a widely circulated video, Rajnath Singh can be seen struggling while entering the submarine and appearing unsettled due to the narrow passage. He reportedly slipped during the attempt, after which crew members assisted him out.

It is reported that the Indian Defence Minister declined a second attempt to enter the submarine.

Earlier, he undertook a three-day official visit to Germany from April 21 to 23, during which India and Germany signed agreements on defence industrial cooperation and collaboration in United Nations peacekeeping training.
