(Web Desk) - Popular YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson, widely known as MrBeast, is facing a new controversy after a former female employee filed a lawsuit against his company, Beast Industries, alleging sexual harassment, gender discrimination, and wrongful termination.
According to the complaint, the former employee claims that she was subjected to an inappropriate and hostile work environment, particularly for women. The lawsuit also references alleged misconduct and inappropriate remarks attributed to the company’s CEO, James Warren.
The plaintiff further argues that her dismissal occurred after returning from maternity leave, which she says violates U.S. labor protections, including the Family and Medical Leave Act. She maintains that despite being advised informally to rest during her pregnancy, the overall workplace pressure remained intense.
In response, Beast Industries has strongly denied all allegations, calling them baseless and suggesting they are an attempt to gain publicity. The company stated that the employee’s termination was due to organizational restructuring and the elimination of her role, not discrimination or harassment.
To support its position, the company released screenshots of internal messages that appear to show colleagues encouraging the employee to prioritize her health during pregnancy. However, the former employee insists that such gestures did not reflect the broader workplace reality.
The controversy comes at a time when MrBeast holds significant global influence and has recently been recognized among the world’s most impactful figures. The ongoing legal battle could pose a serious challenge to his brand image and growing media empire.
