Mohammad Amir, Faheem fined for violating PSL code of conduct

Mohammad Amir and Faheem Ashraf were fined 10% of their PSL match fees after a heated on-field altercation during Rawalpindi vs Islamabad United, which teammates quickly defused.

(Web Desk) – Mohammad Amir and Faheem Ashraf have been fined for violating the Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) code of conduct in the 34th match of the tournament. The incident occurred during the game between Rawalpindi and Islamabad United.

The altercation began after Amir dismissed Ashraf during the match. Both players engaged in a heated exchange, during which Amir gestured for Ashraf to go to pavilion.

Ashraf responded by moving toward Amir, escalating tensions. The confrontation intensified briefly until fellow teammates intervened and prevented the situation from escalating further.

The match referee imposed a fine of 10 percent of the match fee on each player. Both Amir and Ashraf accepted responsibility for their actions.
