Islamabad federal offices in Red Zone to operate from home on April 22

Pakistan’s Cabinet Division orders federal Red Zone offices to work from home on April 22 with staff on standby.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - All federal offices located in the Red Zone will operate under a work-from-home arrangement on April 22, according to an announcement by the Cabinet Division Pakistan.

Officials clarified that offices will not be closed; instead, work will continue remotely from residences. Special instructions have been issued for ministries, divisions, and government departments operating within the Red Zone.

All officers and secretariat staff have been directed to remain on standby at their stations, with the possibility of being summoned at short notice. Authorities added that officials may be required to report to their offices immediately if needed.

A formal notification has been issued, instructing that the public be informed through media channels regarding the revised working arrangement.
