KARACHI (Dunya News) - Gold and silver prices have witnessed a decline for the second consecutive day in both international and local markets.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, despite the decrease, the per tola gold price in Pakistan remains above Rs 500,000. The price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs 1,000 to Rs 500,162, while the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs 857 to Rs 428,808.
Similarly, silver prices also recorded a decline, with per tola silver falling by Rs 59 to Rs 8,358.
Meanwhile, in the international market, gold prices fell by $10 per ounce, bringing the rate down to $4,778 per ounce.
A day earlier, gold and silver prices recorded a decline in both international and local markets.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs4,900, bringing it down to Rs501,162. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs4,201 to reach Rs429,665.
Similarly, the price of silver per tola also witnessed a reduction of Rs145, settling at Rs8,417.
In the global market, gold prices also registered a decline, with the per ounce rate falling by $49 to reach $4,788.
