ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) ؘ– Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Monday held a significant telephone conversation with Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, underscoring the urgency of sustained diplomatic engagement to address outstanding regional issues.
According to the Foreign Office, the call focused on strengthening bilateral communication and advancing efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability across the region. The interaction comes at a time of heightened diplomatic activity, with both sides signalling a willingness to deepen coordination on matters of mutual concern.
During the conversation, Dar emphasised the importance of maintaining continuous dialogue and ensuring early engagement to resolve all pending issues. He stressed that proactive diplomacy remains essential for fostering a stable regional environment and preventing the escalation of tensions.
