ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar spoke with Canada's Foreign Minister Anita Anand on Sunday.
They reviewed ongoing regional developments.
Anita Anand appreciated and expressed support for Pakistan's continued efforts to advance sustained dialogue and constructive engagement between the parties.
Both sides expressed hope for lasting peace and a durable ceasefire across the region, including in Lebanon, while reaffirming their commitment to broader stability and cooperation.
Earlier, Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi, focusing on evolving regional developments and ongoing diplomatic efforts in the Middle East.
