LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore has witnessed yet another high-value burglary as a property dealer was deprived of valuables worth Rs 15 million in a theft incident carried out by a woman, with CCTV footage of the crime now widely circulating on social media.
According to details, the incident took place in the Islampura area of the provincial capital, where the victim, identified as Salman Manzoor, a resident of Outfall Road and a property dealer by profession, fell victim to the audacious theft. The CCTV footage that has surfaced shows a woman entering the house under circumstances where the main door had reportedly been left open.
The video clearly captures the suspect moving inside the premises without obstruction before making her way to a cupboard. Once inside, she is seen collecting valuables and swiftly leaving the house, completing the entire act within minutes.
Police records indicate that the woman allegedly decamped with 35 tola of gold along with cash amounting to Rs 245,000. The combined value of the stolen items is estimated at approximately Rs 15 million, marking a significant loss for the property dealer.
Authorities have initiated an investigation into the matter following the circulation of the CCTV footage. Law enforcement officials are currently working to identify and trace the suspect using available video evidence and other investigative leads. The footage has also been shared across multiple platforms, drawing public attention to the incident and raising concerns over residential security in the area.
