PM Shehbaz departs for Pakistan after concluding three-nation visit

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif departs Antalya for Pakistan after concluding a successful three-nation visit to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Türkiye.

At Antalya Airport, the prime minister and his delegation were seen off by senior Turkish officials, including Ambassador Tolga Bermek, Director General at the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Nilüfer Kağsız, Member of Parliament Burhan Kayatürk, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkey, Dr. Yousaf Junaid.

During the three-day visit, Prime Minister Sharif held high-level meetings with the leadership of the three brotherly countries. He also interacted with global leaders on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations, promoting regional peace, and exchanging views on key regional and global developments.

The Pakistani delegation accompanying the prime minister included Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant Syed Tariq Fatemi, and the Prime Minister’s Coordinator for Foreign Media, Musharraf Zaidi.

Speaking about the visit, Ishaq Dar said the engagements were successfully concluded and described the visits to Saudi Arabia and Qatar as highly productive. He noted that meaningful bilateral discussions were held to enhance cooperation in various sectors.

On the sidelines of the forum, Prime Minister Sharif also met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Dar highlighted that the Antalya Diplomacy Forum has emerged as an important global platform bringing together diverse perspectives to promote peace, stability, and cooperation.

He also expressed gratitude for Turkey’s hospitality and praised the successful organization of the forum under the leadership of Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
