ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Former Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry on Friday said that India’s goal of isolating Pakistan has backfired, leaving India itself facing international isolation.

Speaking on Dunya News programme 'TONIGHT With Samar Abbas', Aizaz Chaudhry said that the 47-year-long mistrust between the United States and Iran is about to end which he termed as a positive news.

Aizaz Chaudhry said that the best thing is that Pakistan is at the center of all this, and that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Field Marshal have played a key role in this matter.

Aizaz Chaudhry added that Pakistan’s eastern neighbor, India, had been trying for the past 10 years to isolate Pakistan, but today it finds itself isolated instead.
