KARACHI (Dunya News) - Sindh's Provincial Minister for Information and Transport, Sharjeel Inam Memon, on Friday inaugurated the People's Bus Service. The Sindh Transportation and Mass Transit Authority launched six diesel hybrid buses on the Sukkur-Shikarpur route.
Speaking at the ceremony, Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon stated that these buses are a gift for the people of Shikarpur from Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and President Asif Ali Zardari. He said the Shikarpur to Sukkur People's Bus Service is being started.
He said that the Pakistan People’s Party is working for every individual in society, but opponents are deliberately conspiring and propagating against the Sindh government, subjecting the PPP to a media trial.
On this occasion, Provincial Adviser Mir Babar Khan Bhayo, PPP MPA Imtiaz Sheikh, PPP MNA Shahryar Mahar, and District Council Chairman Chief Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Kamario also addressed the gathering.
