LAHORE (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Türkiye’s city of Antalya on an important official visit following the conclusion of his trip to Qatar.
According to an official statement, Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin received the prime minister at the airport, where Pakistan’s ambassador to Türkiye Yousaf Junaid and senior diplomatic officials were also present.
During his visit, the prime minister is scheduled to participate in the fifth Antalya Diplomacy Forum, where he will represent Pakistan’s perspective as part of the “Leaders Panel”.
He is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and other global leaders on the sidelines of the forum.
The visit comes amid intensified diplomatic efforts by Pakistan to facilitate dialogue between Iran and the United States, with a second round of talks likely to take place in Islamabad next week.
In recent days, Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir visited Iran, while the prime minister completed visits to Saudi Arabia and Qatar before arriving in Türkiye.
