Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam outlined key points regarding the ongoing negotiations

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Iranian ambassador in Pakistan Reza Amiri Moghadam said that Tehran has already declared before the world that it does not intend to develop nuclear weapons.

However, he emphasised that no additional demands or conditions would be accepted.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Dunya News, the ambassador outlined key points regarding the ongoing negotiations in Pakistan.

He said that during the first round of talks, all preparations had been completed and a conclusion could have been reached.

However, the US delegation, as in the past, left negotiations unfinished in two previous rounds, and the same pattern was repeated this time.

According to the Iranian envoy, it appears that the United States may be unable to make decisions without the approval of Benjamin Netanyahu.

He clarified that Iran is fully prepared for future negotiations and is willing to reach an agreement if talks are conducted seriously.

Warning the United States and Israel, he said that what they could not achieve through negotiations would also not be achieved through war.

Moghadam added that Iran has shown flexibility on this matter in the past and remains ready to do so, but it is essential that all sanctions be lifted, frozen assets be restored, and Iran’s rights be fully protected in any negotiations.

The ambassador further noted that Field Marshal Asim Munir is continuing efforts in this regard, and progress is expected soon on setting new dates for the next round of negotiations.
