KHAIRPUR (Dunya News) – Police have claimed to have arrested five suspects who killed a girl for honour in front of a crowd two days ago in Khairpur Tando Masti, Dunya News reported here on Wednesday.
According to police, the suspects murdered a girl identified as Rubina Chandio in front of people for honour and fled.
With the viral of the video featuring the suspects killing the girl in public, police took action of the viral clip and arrested the suspects two days after the incident.
Police said onlookers were too complicit in the murder as they remained silent spectators and did not inform police timely, indicating those seen in the clip would also face action.
The five arrested also included two nominated suspects. Their houses were demolished. They would be brought to justice at the earliest, police claimed.
