KARACHI (Dunya News) - Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab has said the district government has constituted a vigilance squad to protect the City’s infrastructure and take legal action against those involved in damaging the government installations.

The Karachi mayor in a statement said vigilance squad consisted of 20 electric bikes, adding electric bikes had been used to reduce fuel costs and arrive in their destination immediately.

Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab said these motorcycles will not be used for anyone's protocol, giving warning if anyone was giving protocol, a strict action will be taken him.

“We do the work, someone else goes to do the road cutting. We install streetlights, someone steals them,” he said.

MQM and PPP have no ideal political relations. With the removal of Sindh governor Kamran Tessori, political tension heated up between the two parties, igniting a blame game between their leaders.
