KARACHI (Dunya News) - Peshawar Zalmi secured a convincing eight-wicket victory over Quetta Gladiators in the 23rd match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11.
Batting first, Quetta Gladiators posted a total of 154 runs in their allotted overs.
Hasan Nawaz top-scored with 37 runs, while Rilee Rossouw contributed 26 and Khawaja Nafay added 20.
For Peshawar Zalmi, Mohammad Basit and Sufiyan Muqeem claimed three wickets each, while Iftikhar Ahmed chipped in with one.
In response, Peshawar Zalmi comfortably chased down the 155-run target in 18.3 overs.
Captain Babar Azam led from the front with an impressive 71-run knock, supported by Mohammad Haris who scored 35 and Kusal Mendis who added 21.
For Quetta Gladiators, Alzarri Joseph and Saud Shakeel picked up one wicket each, but their efforts were not enough to stop Zalmi from sealing a dominant win.
