DUBAI (Dunya News) –The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a record prize pool for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026.
According to details, a total of $8.76 million has been allocated for the tournament—an increase of around 10% compared to the 2024 edition. For the first time, 12 teams will participate in the event.
The winning team will receive $2.34 million, while the runner-up will get $1.17 million.
Teams losing in the semi-finals will be awarded $675,000 each, and every group-stage win will earn $31,154, highlighting increased financial incentives across all stages.
The announcement reflects growing investment in women’s cricket and aims to further boost the sport’s global profile.
