ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The overseas Pakistanis have expressed immense pride in Islamabad’s recent diplomatic successes, particularly its role in mediating regional tensions and hosting high-level peace talks.
The diaspora views these efforts, driven by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, as evidence of a responsible, peace-oriented Pakistan with a strengthened international image.
The overseas Pakistanis are of the view that the country has emerged as a "victor of peace," earning recognition and respect internationally. They noted that Pakistan's positive global image has soared to new heights under country's strong and effective leadership.
Overseas Pakistanis highlighted that Pakistan's diplomatic strength is now being widely acknowledged across the world. They also commended the military leadership for adopting a well-planned and effective strategy, which compelled even critics to accept the prevailing realities.
Describing the development as historic, they termed Pakistan's successful diplomacy an important chapter in global history. They further emphasized that this achievement reflects the nation's honour, dignity, and commitment to peace and stability.
The overseas community reiterated that Pakistan's identity is closely tied to promoting peace and regional stability, adding that the recent diplomatic success is clear evidence of the country's responsible role and peace-oriented policies.
They further said that the vision of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir is being appreciated at the international level.
