TEHRAN (Dunya News) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that the Iranian government will stand firmly with its people regardless of the outcome of ongoing negotiations.
His remarks were shared on the social media platform X in reference to the Islamabad peace talks. He emphasised that Iran’s negotiating delegation is acting in full accordance with national interests.
The statement comes as diplomatic discussions continue in Pakistan, with Tehran underscoring unity between its leadership, delegation and citizens.

He noted that the delegation is engaging in discussions with determination and resolve. According to him, the mission of serving the Iranian people will continue without interruption, regardless of how the negotiations unfold.
He stressed that there would be no compromise on Iran’s core national interests during the discussions in Pakistan. He reiterated that the delegation is fully empowered to defend the country’s positions with courage and responsibility. The remarks reflect Tehran’s firm diplomatic posture as the talks progress, with emphasis placed on maintaining sovereignty and protecting strategic priorities.
Pezeshkian further confirmed his complete support for the Iranian negotiating team currently engaged in talks in Pakistan. He stated that the government stands behind its delegation as it conducts discussions with strength and confidence. The leadership in Tehran expressed trust in the team’s ability to represent Iran effectively while upholding national objectives throughout the ongoing diplomatic process.
