Gold prices drop in Pakistan after one-day spike

The price of gold fell by $7 per ounce, bringing it down to $4,746 per ounce.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Gold prices witnessed a decline in both international and local markets on Saturday, while silver rates recorded an increase.

In the international bullion market, the price of gold fell by $7 per ounce, bringing it down to $4,746 per ounce.

Following global trends, local bullion markets in Pakistan also saw a decrease in gold prices. The price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs. 700 to Rs. 496,962, while 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs. 600 to Rs. 426,064.

In contrast, silver prices moved upward. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs. 50 to reach Rs. 8,064, while 10 grams of silver rose by Rs. 43 to Rs. 6,913.

It is worth noting that gold prices had increased in the previous trading session before reversing their trend today.
