Iranian Speaker shares image from flight to Pakistan showing seats with photos of Minab school victims, as delegation arrives for talks and honors 168 killed in missile attack.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Iranian Parliament Speaker Baqher Ghalibaf shared a picture from his flight to Pakistan on social media, showing seats decorated with photographs and school bags of children martyred in the Minab school attack.

In a post shared on the social media platform X, he wrote that these were his companions on the flight.

It is worth recalling that in the early days of the war, 168 people were martyred in an American and Israeli attack on a school in Minab.

According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the Iranian delegation is being led by Mohammad Baqher Ghalibaf, while Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has also arrived in Islamabad along with the delegation.

On the other hand, US President Donald Trump said that a strong team has been sent for the Islamabad negotiations, with JD Vance, Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff set to participate in the talks in Islamabad.

According to the Iranian government, the aircraft carrying the Iranian negotiating delegation to Pakistan has been named after the Minab school incident during the recent war.

‘Minab 168’ refers to the 168 Iranian citizens, including children, who were martyred in a missile attack on February 28. In that attack, the children’s school Shajra Tayyaba located in the city of Minab, Iran, was targeted.

After arriving in Pakistan, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf shared the image on social media platform X.
