ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister for Planning and Development and senior PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal on Thursday said that the United States-Iran talks being held through Pakistan’s mediation are a major diplomatic success for Islamabad.
Speaking on Dunya News programme "Dunya Meher Bokhari Kay Sath", Ahsan Iqbal said that this is one of the most important moments in Pakistan’s 78-year history.
He said that the Field Marshal Asim Munir worked day and night, remained steadfast, and never gave up, saying that he prevented the peace process from being sabotaged at every stage.
He further added that even the United Nations cannot guarantee Israel’s actions, adding that only the United States can provide such a guarantee.
