Gold prices in Pakistan drop sharply following global trend

The price of gold dropped by $95 per ounce, bringing it down to $4,723 per ounce.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Gold prices witnessed a significant decline in both international and local markets today (Thursday).

In the global bullion market, the price of gold dropped by $95 per ounce, bringing it down to $4,723 per ounce.

Following the international trend, prices in Karachi’s local bullion markets also recorded a sharp decrease. The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs9,500, reaching Rs494,662, while the price for 10 grams of gold declined by Rs8,145 to settle at Rs424,092.

Similarly, silver prices in the local market also dropped. The price of silver per tola decreased by Rs300 to Rs7,884, while the rate for 10 grams of silver fell by Rs257, settling at Rs6,759.

The decline reflects the impact of international market trends on local bullion rates.
