ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan’s Foreign Office has urged the international community to take concrete steps to end Israeli aggression.
The spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that Pakistan strongly condemns Israeli aggression in Lebanon, which has resulted in the loss of innocent lives and widespread destruction of infrastructure.
The spokesperson stated that Israel’s actions are undermining regional peace and international efforts, adding that such actions are a clear violation of international law and basic humanitarian principles.
He emphasized that the global community must take effective measures to stop Israeli aggression.
Pakistan reaffirmed its unwavering solidarity with Lebanon and reiterated its support for the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Meanwhile, António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations, also condemned the large-scale Israeli attacks across Lebanon and called on all parties to immediately cease hostilities.

In his statement, he said that hundreds of civilians, including children, have been killed and injured, while civilian infrastructure has also been damaged.
He warned that military activities in Lebanon could pose a serious threat to ceasefire efforts and long-term peace in the region.
It is noteworthy that within hours of a ceasefire announcement between United States and Iran, some of the most intense attacks in history were carried out on Lebanon, resulting in 254 deaths and more than 1,100 injuries.
Over 100 strikes were reportedly launched by Israel within just 10 minutes across Lebanon.
U.S. Vice President JD Vance stated that Lebanon is not included in the ceasefire agreement, while Israel clarified that the truce with Iran does not apply to Lebanon.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had explicitly mentioned Lebanon in his statement, while Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar also expressed concern over serious ceasefire violations in the country.
