LAHORE (Dunya News) – President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N), Nawaz Sharif, has expressed hope that the recent US-Iran ceasefire will prove to be a meaningful step towards global stability.
In a statement shared on social media platform X, Nawaz Sharif praised Pakistan’s leadership for its diplomatic efforts in helping avert a major international crisis.
He commended Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, and Field Marshal Asim Munir for what he described as “extraordinary diplomatic efforts” in securing the ceasefire between Iran and the United States.
“I appreciate from the core of my heart the remarkable role played in averting a major global crisis and ensuring the ceasefire,” he stated.
