According to X's management, the platform's primary focus is to ensure that users are receiving truthful and verified information, as AI-generated content could mislead the public.
The decision is aimed at combatting misinformation and preventing the spread of potentially harmful or deceptive material.
Furthermore, X's administration has stated that users sharing AI-created videos will now be required to clearly label and disclose that the content is AI-generated. Failure to provide such information may result in suspension of earnings for content creators.
