IRGC claims attack on U.S. forces in Dubai, says 100 troops killed

The Iranian military command said the strike formed part of a broader retaliatory campaign following the US-Israeli assault on Iran.

TEHRAN (Dunya News) - Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said its forces carried out major attacks on American military personnel across the Gulf, including a strike in Dubai that it claims killed more than 100 US soldiers.

The Iranian military command said the strike formed part of a broader retaliatory campaign following the US-Israeli assault on Iran that killed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and several senior Iranian officials.

Iranian authorities also said US forces stationed in Kuwait were attacked using large numbers of drones. “We targeted US infantry forces in Kuwait with dozens of destructive drones,” the IRGC command said.

Another US installation in Bahrain was also targeted.

The IRGC further claimed that a U.S. naval vessel refueling in the Indian Ocean, approximately 650 kilometers away, was struck by missiles. Iranian military officials stated that the ground forces of the IRGC had formally entered the conflict, launching around 230 attack drones simultaneously as part of the operation.

In addition, the Iranian force claimed it had targeted key Israeli command centers during the coordinated strikes.

There has been no immediate confirmation from U.S., Emirati, or Israeli authorities regarding the claims. Independent verification of the reported casualties and damage was not immediately available.
