QUETTA (Dunya News) – The repatriation of Pakistani nationals stranded in Iran continued for a third consecutive day, with another 115 individuals crossing into Pakistan through the Gabd-Rimdan border post in Gwadar district.
According to police officials, those returning included 69 students and 46 pilgrims. The group entered the country via the Gabd-Rimdan crossing, located along the Pakistan-Iran border in Balochistan.
Officials said that personnel of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) received the returnees upon arrival late at night and facilitated necessary immigration procedures.
Authorities confirmed that over the past three days, a total of 279 individuals have returned to Pakistan through the Gabd-Rimdan border point. The figure includes students, pilgrims and some foreign nationals.
The repatriation process is taking place amid heightened regional tensions, prompting efforts to ensure the safe return of Pakistani citizens from affected areas.
Officials have indicated that arrangements remain in place to assist additional nationals seeking to return in the coming days.
