ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued notices in a petition seeking transfer of the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, to Shifa Hospital for medical treatment.
During the hearing, Justices Arbab Muhammad Tahir and Khadim Hussain Somro heard the petition with objections raised by the Registrar Office. Senior lawyers including Latif Khosa, Salman Akram Raja, and others appeared in court.
Latif Khosa requested the court to schedule the hearing for the hospital transfer request on the next day.
In response, Justice Arbab remarked that it would take two to three days for the preparation of the paper book. He added that notices had been issued to the state regarding the transfer request.
The court further stated that the central appeal would be scheduled for next week and advised the lawyers to come prepared for the upcoming hearing.
Additionally, the court directed the hearing of the Toshakhana criminal case to be set for March 10.
