KARACHI (Dunya News) – At least 106 international flights were cancelled across Pakistan on Monday as air travel continued to be disrupted due to the evolving security situation in the Middle East.
According to aviation sources, flight operations at major airports remain significantly affected, with numerous outbound international services unable to depart for their scheduled destinations.
At Karachi Airport, 32 flights to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Sharjah, Kuwait and Bahrain were cancelled. Meanwhile, at Peshawar Airport, all 22 domestic and international flights scheduled for the day were called off.
At Lahore Airport, 22 flights operated by various airlines to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Bahrain were cancelled. In addition, four flights from Faisalabad, two from Quetta and four from Multan were also suspended.
Over the past three days, more than 350 flights from airports across the country to Middle Eastern destinations have been cancelled, causing inconvenience to thousands of passengers. Authorities are closely monitoring the regional situation and advising travellers to remain in contact with their respective airlines for updates.
