ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The federal cabinet meeting, which was originally scheduled for today (Monday), will now be held on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
According to PM Secretariat sources, the cabinet meeting which was scheduled to be held today (Monday) was postponed due to Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s busy schedule.
Sources said that the cabinet meeting will now be held on Tuesday at the PM Office. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will preside over the meeting.
The cabinet is expected to conduct a detailed review of the evolving regional situation, including escalating tensions in the Middle East. Sources said the cabinet will be briefed on the Iran-Israel confrontation and the broader regional security environment. Matters related to national security will also feature prominently on the agenda.
The meeting will further examine the country’s internal situation, consultations regarding actions linked to Afghanistan, and the recent wave of protests against the United States.
