ABU DHABI (Dunya News) - Pakistan’s embassy and consulate in the UAE have suspended consular services temporarily, until Tuesday (March 3, 2026) "in light of the regional current situation."
In a circular issued on Sunday, the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai said this step comes after the UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation recommended remote working and advised against "workers presence in open spaces."
The Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi reiterated that the measure was taken "in the interest of safety and well-being of community members and Embassy staff alike."
The embassy confirmed that the resumption of consular services will be announced once the security situation stabilizes.
Pakistani nationals in the UAE are advised to follow the instructions of local authorities and stay informed through official announcement.
