(Web Desk) – The Israeli ambulance service reported that one Israeli woman was killed and 121 others were injured, mostly with minor wounds, according to Al Jazeera on Sunday.

The Israeli military claimed that Iran launched a large-scale missile attack on the country. While most of the missiles and drones were intercepted or destroyed, some did manage to penetrate defenses, hitting areas in Tel Aviv and Beit Shemesh, a city located west of Jerusalem.

Debris from the attack also fell in the occupied West Bank, near the northern city of Qalqilya. It remains unclear whether the fragments were from a rocket or an intercepted missile, but they landed away from an Israeli settlement and closer to Palestinian areas.

Israel’s defense systems are designed to protect Israelis, including those living in illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank, but offer no protection to Palestinians. The missile may have been diverted by Israel’s defense systems, causing it to land in Palestinian territory. Earlier on Saturday morning, a Palestinian was injured in Beit Sahour, a town in the southern West Bank.

Protesters move to storm US Embassy in Baghdad, Beirut

Protests erupted in Iraq’s capital, Baghdad, after the killing of Khamenei with demonstrators attempting to mobilise to storm the US Embassy there.

The demonstrators confronted security forces in the city’s Green Zone – the heavily-fortified area serving as the seat of the Iraqi government, parliament and foreign embassies.

Videos, verified by Al Jazeera, show protesters waving flags and shouting slogans. Witnesses said the protesters were attempting to storm the US Embassy.

The footage also shows several protesters attempting to block vehicles at a roundabout near a gate leading to the Green Zone.

Reports have emerged of unusual activity around the US Embassy in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.

According to Russian media, trucks were seen rapidly approaching the embassy, and gunfire was heard shortly afterward. However, no official confirmation or detailed information about the incident has been released so far.

Israeli army warns against sharing locations hit by Iran

The Israeli army has cautioned the public against posting or sharing the locations of sites struck by Iranian attacks, as Iran’s retaliatory operations continue.

In a statement published on X, the military urged residents to remain inside protected shelters unless they receive official instructions permitting them to leave.

“If no alert was received, stay near a protected space,” the statement read.

Reports indicate that Iran has launched another wave of attacks across the Middle East, including strikes aimed at targets inside Israel.

IRGC announces attacks on 27 US bases in Middle East

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that it is conducting a sixth round of operations in response to what it described as US and Israeli strikes on Iran, according to Iranian state media.

The IRGC said it launched “extensive missile and drone” attacks targeting Israel and US military installations across the region. It claimed that 27 US bases were struck, along with Israel’s Tel Nof airbase, the Israeli military’s command headquarters at HaKirya in Tel Aviv, and a major defense industrial facility in the same city.

The statement added that Iranian forces would take what it described as a “different and severe step of revenge,” warning of further successive retaliatory actions.
