(Web Desk) - The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has unveiled a revamped Faculty Exchange Programme aimed at enhancing teaching and research opportunities for Pakistani university faculty.
Under the initiative, Pakistani professors will have the chance to teach and conduct research at leading international universities, while foreign faculty from technologically advanced countries will visit Pakistan to deliver courses at local institutions.
Officials said visiting international professors will teach at Pakistani universities for periods ranging from two to sixteen weeks, offering students exposure to global academic standards.
The programme also plans to introduce modern courses at undergraduate, master’s, and PhD levels, strengthening research collaboration and overall academic quality across the country’s higher education institutions.
HEC emphasized that the programme is part of its broader effort to internationalize Pakistani higher education and provide faculty and students with world-class learning experiences.
