KARACHI (Dunya News) - Gold and silver prices continued their upward trend for the fourth consecutive day in both international and local markets.
In the global bullion market, the price of gold increased by $13 per ounce, reaching $5,185.
Following the rise in international rates, domestic gold prices also recorded a significant increase. The price of gold per tola surged by Rs1,300, reaching Rs541,262 in the local market.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs1,114 to settle at Rs464,044.
Silver prices also witnessed an upward trend. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs268 to Rs9,554, while the rate for 10 grams of silver climbed by Rs230 to Rs8,191.
Market analysts attribute the continued increase to fluctuations in the international bullion market and sustained demand, which have pushed precious metal prices higher for the fourth straight session.
