TURBAT (Dunya News) - At least six members of a single family were killed and three others injured when unidentified gunmen opened fire on a house in Turbat, on Tuesday.
According to police officials, the incident occurred in the Balida area of Turbat, where armed assailants carried out indiscriminate firing at a residential property. A woman and a minor child were among those killed, while three family members sustained injuries.
Police and security forces rushed to the scene after receiving information about the attack. The bodies and injured were shifted to a nearby hospital, where the wounded are receiving medical treatment.
Authorities said the area has been cordoned off and a search operation is underway to trace and apprehend the attackers.
