PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Former KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur has said the provincial government has withdrawn security from him, vowing he would not accept it if it is returned to him, the claim rejected by adviser information Shafi Jan, who said no such was made.
According to sources, ten elite force personnel were deployed for Ali Amin Gandapur's security, while Shafi Jan said that no decision was made to withdraw the security.
He said that there is no truth in the circulating claims about Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi withdrawing the security of former CM Ali Amin Gandapur.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Adviser clarified that no decision has been taken in this regard, nor has any such instruction been issued to the relevant authorities.
Ali Amin Gandapur on Tuesday said he would not accept the return of his government-provided security, claiming it had been withdrawn by the provincial administration.
Gandapur said that KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi's deputy chief security officer (CSO) called his security personnel at around 11pm, informing him that the CSO had ordered them to return.
