LAHORE (Web Desk) - Two juvenile female deer were killed following an attack by a male deer at Bagh-e-Jinnah in Lahore, park authorities confirmed on Tuesday.
The incident occurred inside one of the park’s enclosures where the deer were kept. According to officials, the male deer suddenly turned aggressive and attacked the young females, leaving them severely injured.
The injured deer were immediately separated from the male and provided medical treatment. However, despite emergency care and first aid efforts, both succumbed to their injuries.
As a precautionary measure, the remaining deer have now been separated from the male to prevent any further harm.
Project Director Bagh Jinnah, Jalil Ahmed, stated that the exact cause of death will be determined after the post-mortem report is issued.
