PESHAWAR (Web Desk) – Lieutenant Colonel Shahzada Gul Faraz and Sepoy Karamat Shah, who were martyred in a militant attack in Bannu, have been laid to rest with full military honours.
Thousands of mourners, including senior military officers, government officials, family members and local residents, attended the funeral ceremonies held in their respective hometowns.
The solemn gatherings reflected widespread grief and national respect for the fallen servicemen.
The funeral prayer of Lieutenant Colonel Shahzada Gul Faraz was offered in Mansehra, where a large number of people turned out to pay their respects. Following the ceremony, he was buried in his native area with complete military protocol and national dignity.

Sepoy Karamat Shah’s funeral prayer was held in Peshawar before he was laid to rest with full military honours in his hometown. The ceremony was attended by senior officers, local elders and residents, who expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.

Authorities said both soldiers embraced martyrdom during what they described as a cowardly attack by Fitna al Khawarij militants in Bannu while performing their duties.
The armed forces reiterated their determination to continue operations against militant elements.
