LAHORE (Dunya News) - The annual board examinations for 8th-grade students across Punjab are scheduled to start from March 9, 2026.
According to issued date sheet the first paper will be Mathematics on March 9, followed by Urdu on March 10, English on March 11, and Science on March 12. The Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) will conduct exams for only these four subjects, while the remaining papers will be held at individual schools.
All students have been instructed to arrive at examination centers 30 minutes early. Strict restrictions have been imposed on bringing mobile phones, smartwatches, or any electronic devices. Candidates must carry their B-Form and roll number slips, along with a blue or black ballpoint pen and a clipboard.
Students appearing for the Mathematics paper are allowed to bring a geometry box. Exams will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and no extra answer sheets will be provided — only the provided answer copy must be used.
The results for the examinations are scheduled to be announced on March 31, 2026.
