HANGU (Dunya News) - The district administration in Hangu has formally enforced Section 144 across the area in view of prevailing law and order concerns, issuing a detailed notification outlining a series of restrictions for the holy month of Ramadan.
According to the official statement, Section 144 will remain in force for the entire month of Ramadan.
Authorities have imposed a ban on motorcycle double riding, public display of weapons and the illegal use of loudspeakers to prevent any untoward incidents.
The notification further states that the open sale of chemical substances and petrol has been prohibited as a precautionary measure. In addition, wall chalking and gatherings of more than five individuals at any public place have also been banned under the imposed restrictions.

Officials have also restricted the entry of Afghan refugees into Hangu during this period as part of broader security arrangements aimed at ensuring peace and stability.
The Deputy Commissioner of Hangu stated that the decision to impose Section 144 was taken to strengthen security measures and maintain a peaceful environment throughout Ramadan, adding that strict action would be taken against anyone found violating the orders.
