PM strongly presented Palestinian case in Board of Peace meeting: Tarar

Attaullah Tarar said that Pakistan was previously facing isolation but is now emerging as a key player in every major global issue.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar on Thursday said that at the Gaza Board of Peace meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly advocated for the Palestinian cause.

Attaullah Tarar said that Pakistan received significant appreciation at the Gaza Board of Peace meeting. He said that the US President Donald Trump praised Pakistan’s role in peace efforts.

He said that it is a matter of pride that President Trump commended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir during the inaugural meeting of the Board of Peace.

He further said that Pakistan has emerged as an important country on the global stage. He described this as a success of Pakistan’s foreign policy, noting that the country is gaining respect internationally. The Prime Minister forcefully presented the Palestinian case, saying that the establishment of an independent Palestinian state is essential for peace.

Attaullah Tarar said that Pakistan was previously facing isolation but is now emerging as a key player in every major global issue. He said that when leadership is honest, the outcome is always positive. He further said that the meeting between the Prime Minister and the US President was held in a cordial atmosphere.
