Gold prices surge by Rs7,900 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices surged locally and globally on Thursday, with 24K gold increasing by Rs7,900 to Rs523,962. Silver also saw a rise, with prices reaching Rs8,404 per tola.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The price of gold has seen a significant increase both locally and globally on Thursday, according to the Pakistan Sarafa Association.

The price of 24-karat gold per tola surged by Rs7,900, bringing it to Rs523,962. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs6,773, reaching Rs449,212.

On the global front, the price of gold per ounce jumped by $79, reaching $5,012.

According to gold dealers, the price of gold has increased by a staggering Rs9,200 per tola in just two days in the local market.

Furthermore, the price of silver also saw a rise, with its per tola price increasing by Rs358 to reach Rs8,404. Over the past two days, the price of silver has risen by Rs390 per tola.
