KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police claimed to have apprehended seven suspected robbers – six of them in an injured condition – after ‘encounters’ in different areas of the city here on Tuesday.
Site Super Highway Police arrested a suspect who had injured a citizen and snatched bike from him. He was arrested after an ‘encounter. Police recovered weapons, stolen goods, and the stolen motorcycle from his possession.
Paposh Nagar police arrested an accused in an injured condition during an ‘encounter’ and recovered weapons and stolen goods. Gulberg police arrested an accused in an injured condition after an alleged exchange of fire near Tahir Villa Chowrangi. Weapons were recovered from the accused's possession.
Khawaja Ajmer Nagri police arrested an accused in an injured condition and recovered weapons and mobile phones after an alleged encounter near a market.
After an exchange of fire between Mochko police and the suspects, two suspects, including one injured, were arrested and weapons, stolen goods, and a motorcycle were recovered from their possession.
Quaidabad police arrested a suspect in an injured condition after an alleged exchange of gunfire. His accomplice managed to escape taking advantage of the darkness of the night.
The police registered cases against the arrested suspects and initiated further legal action.
