LAHORE (Dunya News) – Police in Punjab capital successfully recovered a citizen’s lost iPhone within two hours after it was reported missing in a busy market area.
According to officials in Pakistan, the phone was misplaced while the citizen was shopping near Link Road Model Town.
Authorities said police received multiple calls reporting the missing device. Investigators later determined the phone had fallen from the citizen’s pocket and was picked up by an unidentified individual.
Using modern digital tracking technology, Lahore Police traced the suspect to the Township area and recovered the device, which was subsequently returned to the owner.
Senior police official Shehrbano Naqvi praised the Liaquatabad police team, stating that protection of citizens’ lives and property remains the department’s top priority.
