ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) — The district administration has issued new directives for setting up public iftar arrangements during Ramadan on various city streets.
Authorities announced that anyone wishing to organize a public iftar must register with the district administration, submitting complete details including identity and location information. Unauthorized setups will not be allowed.
A spokesperson said the administration will inspect requested locations and ensure security and other necessary facilities. So far, 18 applications have been received from across the city.
Assistant commissioners will conduct site inspections before issuing permits.
The directive aims to regulate public iftar arrangements while maintaining safety and order during the holy month.
