Mohsin Naqvi meets national team, praises players' spirit

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi met Pakistan’s cricket team in Colombo, praising players’ dedication and extending best wishes; captain, coaches, and staff were present.

COLOMBO (Dunya News) - Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi met with the national cricket team, including players and management on Saturday, to boost morale and appreciated their dedication and commitment.

During the meeting, Naqvi extended his best wishes to the team for upcoming challenges and praised the players’ passion and determination.

The gathering included captain Salman Ali Agha, head coach Mike Hesson, manager Naveed Akram Cheema, all players and coaching staff, PCB Chief Operating Officer Sameer Ahmed, PSL Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer, and Director (Media) Aamir Mir.

Earlier, Naqvi was accorded a grand welcome with traditional drums and dance upon reaching the team’s hotel.

According to PCB sources, he was accompanied by Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman, PCB COO Sumair Ahmed Syed, and PSL CEO Salman Naseer.

Speaking informally to journalists at the hotel, Naqvi was asked about tomorrow’s match, replying, “May Allah bless us. Our team is in good form, Insha’Allah it will be good.
